When I heard about Bells Ferry expanding it felt like a day later when PJ’s closed. And the next day there was a flat plot of land where all those memories stood. My loved ones who’ve been in the area far longer than I, missed it terribly, especially my girlfriend. She grew up with PJ’s as her local gas station. We all know that one close to our house/school that absolutely made our childhood.
On our way back from town we turned to discover a bobcat actively swinging the arm through the roof. I felt so devastated, and I cannot imagine how other folks must be feeling in this community. I’m so glad I was able to finish it and frame it for my love. And I’m glad you all get to see it.
